‘Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.’ Helen Keller

The Centre’s educational and care team is comprised from several professional disciplines to enable us to offer your children the very best support. We are collectively known as a pedagogical team and answer to our first names, which is so much friendlier for little people!

Histon Early Years Centre is a Maintained Nursery School serving approximately 120 one-to-four year olds. The Centre is committed to instill a lifelong love of learning and foster in all, the vital social skills needed to contribute to a wider community. We believe that exploration and enquiry in early childhood are the foundations on which children build the rest of their lives; early years education is not just a preparation for the next stage – is it vitally important in itself.

We offer excellent opportunities for career progression and for furthering your own professional development though our whole Centre training days and sector partnerships.

Histon Early Years Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including the right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS, medical checks and two satisfactory references.
